A cyclist-friendly place

Chochołowy Dwór has been included in the System of Recommendations for Cyclist-Friendly Places in the Małopolska Province.

MPRs are service facilities (including lodging, dining, tourist attractions, tourist information centers, bike repair shops, and stores) that offer services tailored to the needs of cyclists. In Małopolska, they are located within 15 km of one of the VeloMałopolska routes. The network operates on principles similar to those of other systems in Poland (e.g., Green Velo’s “Cyclist-Friendly Places”) or in Europe (Bett+Bike in Germany and Austria, Vitajte Cyklisti in Slovakia, and Cyklisté vítáni in the Czech Republic).

What Do Bicycle-Friendly Places Offer?

At every MPR-certified facility, cyclists will find:

• secure, free bicycle parking,
• free tools for basic bicycle repairs,
• up-to-date information about nearby service centers and bike shops, or places that sell bicycle replacement parts,
• a link to the website narowery.visitmalopolska.pl, where you can download maps to print yourself in A4 format, GPS tracks for bike routes, and information about attractions

For lodging facilities, the following also applies:

• the option for a tourist to stay for one night,
• Safe and free storage of bicycles and luggage during your stay.
